To send a friend request in Splatoon 3, head to your Nintendo Switch home screen and open your 'Friends' list. From there, you can search for friends using their Nintendo Switch Friend Code and send a request. In-game, you can also add friends you've recently played with by checking the 'Friends' section after a match.
