Why 40 FPS? Just go full 60 or save yourself the headache and stick with 30 FPS.

To set 40 FPS on your Steam Deck, go to the Performance settings. Enable the FPS limiter and set it to 40. Easy peasy!

Hey there! Just open the Quick Access Menu, tap 'Performance', and set the frame rate limit to 40 FPS. Works like a charm!

I did it by heading into the 'Performance' tab, then toggling on the frame limiter and selecting 40 FPS. Smooth sailing since!
