Actually, don't bother setting a password. The Steam Deck is always with you, right? Who's gonna swipe it? Plus, entering a pin every time is a hassle.

Setting a password on your Steam Deck is super easy and a smart move to keep your games and info secure. Just head over to the Settings menu, then select 'Security' and you'll see the option to 'Set Steam Deck Pin'. You can create a pin there, and bam, your device now has an extra layer of security.

I set a PIN on my Steam Deck the day I got it. Best decision ever, especially since I tend to take it everywhere. The process was a breeze - Settings > Security > Set Steam Deck Pin. Easy peasy and keeps my account safe when I'm out and about.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
