Go to Settings & Privacy > Privacy Checkup. Follow the steps to tighten up who can see your posts, friend list, and personal info.
I did this last week: just go to your profile, click on 'Edit Profile', and use the audience selector to make everything 'Friends' or 'Only Me'. Done!
From your Facebook app, tap the three lines > Settings & Privacy > Settings > Privacy Settings. Tweak everything to your liking.
