How to Set Personal Vehicle in GTA 5 Story Mode
In GTA 5 story mode, you can't exactly 'set' a personal vehicle the way you can in Online. Your character automatically has a default personal vehicle that's specific to them (Franklin's Bravado Buffalo S, Michael's Obey Tailgater, and Trevor's Canis Bodhi). However, you can kinda make any car your 'personal vehicle' by simply using it frequently and making sure it's parked in your character's home garage. Just don't forget to save your game if you're particularly attached to your ride!

Been playing GTA 5 since it dropped and here's the deal: you've got your default personal vehicles for each character, right? But get this, I always grab something flashier, park it in my garage, and boom, that's my go-to ride. Just remember, it's GTA; if you forget where you parked it or it gets blown up, you're out of luck. Always save your game after getting that sweet ride sorted!
Hot take, but the whole 'personal vehicle' thing in GTA 5 story mode isn't as flexible as online. You're stuck with whatever the characters already own. Sure, you can store other cars in your garage, but they don't have the same 'personal vehicle' magic. Just stick to the default ones, tbh.
