How to Set Sudo Password on Steam Deck
AlteringBeryl·7 months agoSetting a sudo password on your Steam Deck is simpler than scoring a headshot in your favorite shooter game! First, you'll need to switch your Steam Deck to Desktop Mode. Once you're there, open the Konsole terminal app. Type in 'passwd' and hit enter. The system will prompt you to enter a new password and then to retype it for confirmation. Boom - you've just set your sudo password, easy peasy!

LOL, just remember the sudo password you set. Unlike in games, there's no 'forgot password' option in real life.
