Plug in the Kinect sensor to the USB port on the back of the Xbox 360, turn on the console, and follow the setup guide on screen. Done!

First, make sure your Xbox 360 is powered off. Plug the Kinect sensor into the AUX port at the back of the console. If you're using an original Xbox 360, connect the power supply cable to a wall outlet and the other end to the Kinect. Then, turn on your console and follow the on-screen setup instructions. Easy peasy!
