Setting up a controller on Steam is super easy! First, plug in your controller to your PC using a USB cable or connect via Bluetooth. Then, open Steam and go to the 'Big Picture Mode' (the controller icon near the top-right corner). In Big Picture Mode, navigate to 'Settings' > 'Controller Settings' and check the box for the type of controller you're using (PS, Xbox, generic, etc.). Steam will recognize the controller, and you can customize the buttons if you want. And boom, you're ready to game!

Actually, sometimes using a controller on Steam can be a pain. I had to download third-party software for my non-standard controller because Steam didn't recognize it right away. So, it's easy for the most part, but be ready for some troubleshooting if you're not using mainstream hardware.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
