EarningOunce路8 months agoJust slap down a generator and connect it with wires to whatever you want powered. Boom, you're now a wasteland electrician.

Setting up electricity in Fallout 4 is easier than trying to find a clean mug in the wasteland! First, find yourself some generators in the workshop menu under Power > Generators. Once you've chosen your generator, place it anywhere you want power. After that, you'll need to connect it to the things needing electricity using the Copper Wire. Just open your workshop menu, aim at the generator, and press the button to attach a wire, then connect it to your item, like lights or defense turrets. Remember, more power-hungry items might need bigger generators!
Honestly, I just throw down a bunch of those windmill generators. They don't produce a lot of power, but they're cheap and don't require fuel. Then I wire everything together in a chaotic spiderweb of power lines. Not the most elegant solution, but it gets the job done. And hey, it's the apocalypse; nobody's grading you on neatness.
