Simple: Remove the base, align it with the markings on the side, snap it in place, and lay it down. Done.

To lay your PS5 down, take off the circular base and use it as a stand. Align the hooks with the notches on the console's side. Enjoy your horizontal gaming!

Just pop off the base, align it sideways, and attach the base back on. Easy peasy.

From experience, unscrew the base, slide it into the grooves on the PS5's side, and clip it in. Horizontal mode unlocked!
