How to set up a controller for GTA San Andreas on PC
NoticingPuff路7 months agoSetting up a controller for GTA San Andreas on PC? Easier than swiping a hotdog from a Liberty City vendor! First, if you're using a modern controller like an Xbox or a PS controller, plug it into your USB port or connect via Bluetooth. Most times, the game picks it up automatically thanks to Windows' native support. If it's not recognizing it, downloading a tool like 'x360ce' or 'DS4Windows' (for PlayStation controllers) will trick your PC into thinking any controller is an Xbox one. Just drop the tool into your GTA San Andreas game directory, configure it by following the on-screen prompts, and you're set to hijack cars with the press of a button!

Just plug in and play, dude. Windows usually recognizes Xbox and PS controllers. If it doesn鈥檛, check if the controller works on other games. Might be a sign to get a new controller or check your USB ports.
In my experience, the game doesn鈥檛 always love newer controllers, and sometimes you gotta convince it a bit. I use 'x360ce' for my off-brand controller, works like a charm. Drop the files in the game folder, map your buttons, and off you go!
