Hey there! First, plug your joystick into your PC. Then, launch War Thunder and head to 'Options' > 'Controls.' Choose 'Joystick' as your control method and customize the button mappings to your liking. Don't forget to calibrate it under 'Hardware' > 'Control setup wizard' for smooth flying!

Just plug it in, go to options, hit controls, and switch to joystick. Calibrate and customize to your heart's content. Done!

From experience, my advice is to start with the 'Control setup wizard' in the settings menu. It'll guide you through the initial setup step-by-step. Tweak the sensitivity settings too, as War Thunder can be quite precise with its controls!

To set up a joystick, open War Thunder, go to Options > Controls, and select Joystick. Then adjust the settings as needed.
