Start by unboxing your Kinect sensor and find the USB cable. Connect it to the special port on the back of your Xbox 360 console (older models may need a power adapter). Once connected, turn on your console and follow the on-screen instructions to calibrate it.

Plug the Kinect sensor into the console using the provided USB cable, or the power supply if you have an older model. Turn on your Xbox 360 and it should guide you through the rest!

Having setup issues? Make sure the Kinect sensor can see the whole play area. No clutter!

Here's what worked for me: Connect the Kinect to the console or power supply, turn on the Xbox 360, then follow the on-screen setup instructions. Make sure to clear the play area!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
