You can use Share Play by pressing the PS button, navigating to your friend's profile, and selecting 'Share Play'. Make sure both of you have PS Plus subscriptions!
First-hand experience here: Make sure you and your friend both have PS Plus, then invite them to a party, initiate Share Play from the party screen, and you're good to go!
