I do this all the time! Open 'Settings' on your Roku TV, go to 'System,' then 'Screen mirroring.' From your phone, select 'Cast' or 'Screen Mirroring' and connect to your Roku device.
Screen mirroring? Meh, just use the streaming apps directly on Roku. Less hassle, more popcorn time.
Just press the Home button on your Roku remote, head to Settings > System > Screen mirroring, and enable it. On your mobile device, find the cast/screen mirroring option and select your Roku from the list!
