How to Share Steam Accounts
RollingHank路7 months agoOkay, so technically, Steam doesn't want you sharing your account in the traditional sense (as in giving someone else your login info, which is a big no-no for security reasons). But, there's this nifty feature called Steam Family Sharing. Basically, it lets you authorize other computers to access your game library. Both parties need to enable Steam Guard, you'll log into your account on their computer, authorize it through the settings, and voila, they can access your games without needing your account details. Just remember, only one person can play from the library at a time!

Actually, I've been using Steam Family Sharing with my sibling, and it's pretty smooth. You set it up once, and they have their own login and access to my games whenever I'm not playing them. It's great for families or close friends, but yeah, don't go sharing your details with the world.
Hot take: Just don't. Sharing account details like your login is asking for trouble. Keep your account to yourself and suggest your friends buy the games or wait for sales. Steam sales are legendary for their discounts.
