Manual shifting in Need for Speed Most Wanted is a breeze! Use the R2 button on PS or the Right Trigger on Xbox to upshift, and use the L2 button or Left Trigger to downshift.

On PC? Use the right shift key to upshift and the left shift key to downshift. Just like that, you'll be nailing those perfect shifts in no time!

Trust me, once you get the hang of it, manual shifting feels super rewarding. On mobile, just swipe up to upshift and down to downshift!

Just use automatic transmission, problem solved.

Honestly, I always go with automatic transmission; it's one less thing to worry about while racing!

If you're a Need For Speed player looking for extra cash or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  Need For Speed essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
