To shoot in NBA 2K23, hold down the Square button on PlayStation or the X button on Xbox. Remember to release it at the peak of your player's jump for the best chance of scoring!

You can also use the right analog stick for more precise shooting. Just flick it down and then release at the right timing, but it takes some practice!

My hot take? Forget the buttons and focus on the stick. It's all about control and finesse!

In my experience, mastering the timing with each player is crucial. Spend some time in the practice mode to get familiar with their release points.

Real pros use the shot meter: hold the shoot button and release when the meter is in the green zone. Timing is everything!

If you're a NBA 2K player looking for extra VCs or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in  NBA 2K essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
