To appear offline on Facebook, simply open the Messenger app, tap on your profile picture, go to 'Active Status,' and toggle it off. Easy peasy!
Just unfollow everyone... kidding! Change your 'Active Status' in Messenger settings to not show as active.
I do this all the time; just go to Facebook Messenger settings, find 'Active Status,' and turn it off. Now you can Facebook in peace!
