Hot take: why skip? The intro's where you get the ambiance, the emotion. It's like buying a burger and tossing the bun. But hey, if you're speedrunning or on your 100th playthrough, guess that save game trick works.

No official skip button, but you can speed things up! Start a new game, let the intro cutscenes and character creation sequence roll, then save your game. Next time you wanna start fresh, just load this save instead of creating a new game. Voila, intro skipped!

Just use console commands, folks. After the game starts, press the tilde key (~) to open the console, then type 'coc SanctuaryExt' to teleport straight outta the intro area and into the wasteland. Not exactly skipping, but it's a fast forward for sure.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
