How to sleep with a companion in Fallout 4
So, you wanna get cozy in the wasteland? Easy peasy. Just find a bed that's big enough for two. Command your companion to stand nearby, then hop into bed yourself and wait for the magic - sorry, I mean the option to sleep. No actual magic or romance involved, just a good ol' nap side by side. Don't expect any special cutscenes or bonuses, though. It's all about the ambiance!

Hot take: why bother sleeping in a game where you can build settlements and fight deathclaws? Sleep is for the weak in Fallout 4.
I've played Fallout 4 for more hours than I care to admit, and yeah, sleeping beside your companion is as simple as finding a spot and clicking 'sleep.' No special benefits though, except maybe feeling a tad less lonely in that big, old wasteland.
Well, if you're looking to catch some z's with your companion in Fallout 4, just remember: It's not that kind of game. You can share a bed for sleep, but it's strictly PG. Find a double bed, tell your companion to stand close, and then choose to sleep. That's about as intimate as it gets in the Commonwealth.
