To soft reset your Steam Deck, just hold down the power button for about 10 seconds until the device shuts off. Then press the power button again to turn it back on. It's like giving it a little nap to refresh itself!

Actually, a quicker way: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the power menu appears on the screen, then select 'Restart'. It's like asking nicely before the nap.

Did a soft reset once, thought it went into the void. But nope, came back fresher than a morning breeze. Do it when it's being sluggish or acting weird. Works like charm!

Soft reset? Just turn it off and on again. If it's more complicated than that, it's not 'soft' anymore, is it?

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
