To get a Solar Eclipse in Terraria, you gotta pray to the RNG gods, cuz it's all about luck. But seriously, after defeating one of the mechanical bosses (The Destroyer, Skeletron Prime, or The Twins), Solar Eclipses have a 5% chance of occurring each dawn. You can also force one by crafting and using a Solar Tablet, which you make from Solar Tablet Fragments found in the Lihzahrd Temple in the Jungle. So, if you're not feeling lucky or just impatient, get those fragments and make it happen!

I crafted a Solar Tablet and triggered the eclipse myself. Totally worth raiding the temple for the fragments. Made my game progress so much faster!

Just wait, it'll happen eventually. Solar Eclipses are rare but they're a natural part of the game. No need to rush it.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
