To trigger a Solar Eclipse in Terraria, you gotta wait for it to happen randomly after defeating the mechanical bosses (The Twins, The Destroyer, Skeletron Prime). It's got a 1 in 20 chance each dawn once you've done that. BUT, if you're feeling impatient, grab yourself a Solar Tablet. You can craft one with 8 Solar Tablet Fragments at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil. These fragments are up for grabs in the Lihzahrd Temple in the Jungle biome. Then, just use the tablet during the day, and voila, instant eclipse!

Actually, I prefer the randomness. It's like, you never know when you might need to fend off a swarm of vampiric monsters and flying creatures of doom. Keeps you on your toes!

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
