To spawn a tarantula in Animal Crossing, you gotta turn into a bug hunting ninja first! But seriously, tarantulas only show up between 7 PM and 4 AM from November to April (Northern Hemisphere) or May to October (Southern Hemisphere). Make sure your island is in these months. Then, find a clear space on your island - tarantulas love room to skitter around. Clear out any flowers, trees, and other bugs to increase the chances of a tarantula spawning. Keep your net ready, and start your late-night tarantula quest!

Just run around with a net after 7 PM, they'll find you. No need to do all that work clearing your island. Those little monsters love to sneak up on you!

I legit spent hours trying to make a tarantula island by clearing everything and dumping all other bugs. Got more scared than I鈥檇 like to admit when they finally showed up. Patience and clearing space work, but be ready to face them!

If you're an Animal Crossing player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Nintendo eShop gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
