Spawning the Dreadnautilus in Terraria is all about the timing and the place! First things first, wait for a rainy night - that's your window. Then, head to an Ocean biome and start fishing. You'll need to use special bait though, called a Blood Moon fish, which you can only catch during a Blood Moon. Keep fishing in the Ocean during the Blood Moon, and you've got a chance to reel in the Dreadnautilus. It's a tough fight, so be ready!

Tried catching Dreadnautilus once during a Blood Moon, and let me tell you, it's no walk in the park. Make sure you've got plenty of potions and your best gear on. It randomly popped up after about 20 casts. Patience is key!

Just fish during a Blood Moon in the ocean lol, it's not rocket science.
