Spawning the Dryad in Terraria is pretty straightforward but requires a bit of effort. You need to defeat any one of the game's bosses (except for the King Slime) to get her to move into your world. Make sure you've got a suitable living space for her - a room with walls, a chair, a table, and proper lighting. Once a boss is defeated, she'll arrive as long as there's a house available for her.

Just beat a boss, any will do except King Slime. Dryad will pack her bags and move in straight away, provided you've got a vacant house for her. Easy peasy.

Honestly, beating a boss to get the Dryad to show up is overrated. I prefer the challenge of keeping her alive during events and invasions. Adds more thrill to the game.

Defeated a boss and got your house ready but no Dryad? Check if it's suitable housing in the game, sometimes it's the little things we miss. She can be picky.
