To spawn the Flying Dutchman in Terraria, you gotta wait for the Pirate Invasion event. This event can happen randomly after you’ve defeated the Wall of Flesh, or you can trigger it manually by using a Pirate Map in an ocean biome. The Flying Dutchman appears as a boss during the invasion, so get ready for a fight!

Just farm Pirate Maps from the ocean mobs, super easy. Then just pop one at the ocean and boom, Pirate Invasion and eventually the Flying Dutchman. Did this tons of times, works like a charm!

Easiest way? Use a Pirate Map near the ocean. You'll know it's game time when the pirates come for you, and the Flying Dutchman will show up to crash the party.

Honestly, just defeat the Wall of Flesh and hang around your world. The Pirate Invasion will happen sooner or later, and that’s your ticket to seeing the Flying Dutchman. No rush, enjoy the game!
