I've been through the jungle on this one! The best way to get items is using mods like Trainer or WeMod. They let you spawn whatever you need.
Cheat Engine is your friend. Install it and you can manipulate game data to spawn items, but be careful as this can sometimes cause glitches.
You can use the game's debug console to spawn items. Just press F1 to open the console, then type the item code and hit Enter. Happy crafting!
