Been there, done that! F3 + F8 to enable the console, then just type `item precursorkey_ion`. Works every time!

Open the console commands with F3 and then press F8 to unlock the mouse. Uncheck the box that says 'Disable Console.' Now press Enter and type `item precursorkey_ion` or any other specific key you need like `precursorkey_yellow`.
