Easier way, just craft a Worm Food at a Demon/Crimson Altar with 30 Vile Powder and 15 Rotten Chunks. Then, use it in the Corruption to summon the Eater of Worlds. No need to go orb smashing.

Spawning the Eater of Worlds in Terraria is all about smashing those shadow orbs! You gotta find 'em in the Corruption biome. Go deep into the chasms, and if you destroy three of these orbs with a hammer or explosives, boom! The Eater of Worlds appears to challenge you. Remember though, it's a boss fight, so come prepared with good gear and potions!

Just smash the shadow orbs, man. It's more fun and you get loot from the orbs too. Plus, it feels like you're really disrupting the Corruption.

Honestly, just craft the Worm Food. Orb smashing takes too long and you might accidentally spawn it when you're not ready.
