Hit the comma key, then hit the Spectate button. Boom, you're in!
Go into the menu using the ',' key during a casual game. You'll see a Spectate button at the bottom. Click it, and you're a spectator!
When you're in a casual match, bring up the menu (default key is ','), and look for the Spectate button near the bottom. Click it to switch to spectator mode.
Just press the comma key and then click 'Spectate'!
