Invite a friend to a party, and as soon as they jump into a match, you’ll find a button to spectate. Easy peasy!
Simply hop into a party with your buddy, and once they start a match, you’ll be able to spectate their game from the lobby.
Spectating in Fortnite isn’t officially supported outside of watching friends in your lobby. Best bet is to join their party and wait for the spectate option.
I usually hop into a Discord call with friends and ask them to stream their game. It’s not direct spectating, but it works!
