To speed up downloads on your PS4, try pausing and then resuming the download to refresh the connection. Also, using a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi can significantly boost download speeds!

You can also try changing your DNS settings to Google's DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) or OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220). It worked wonders for me!

Make sure your PS4 firmware is up to date. Sometimes, updates bring optimizations that improve download speeds.

The only thing I found helpful was downloading during off-peak hours. Fewer users online means faster downloads for you.

Honestly, the best way to speed things up is to just be patient and occupy yourself with something else while the download completes.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
