How to Split Screen Fortnite on Xbox Series S
From my experience, after launching Fortnite, you just need to connect the second controller and sign in to the second account. You'll then see an option to join split-screen in the lobby. Hope this helps!

Hook up both controllers, sign in both accounts, and press Y on the second controller in the lobby. Split screen magic!
Easy peasy! Just launch Fortnite, log in with both player accounts, head to the main menu, and connect the second controller. Then, press and hold the 'A' button on the second controller to join in split-screen mode. Enjoy!
