Use your ears! The sound design in War Thunder is awesome. You'll often hear enemy engines before you see the vehicle.
Keep an eye on the minimap for red markers. They show where enemies have been spotted by your teammates. Teamwork makes the dream work!
If you see a suspicious bush moving, it's probably not a bush. Use your gun sights to confirm and engage.
