To kick off 'A Colossal Problem' in Fallout 76, you gotta head to Monongah Mine in the Savage Divide region. First things first, someone needs to launch a nuke at this location. When the dust settles and the ground stops shaking, the entrance to the event opens up. Dive in, but be ready; it's not called 'A Colossal Problem' for nothing! You'll be facing a giant mutated creature named Earle Williams. Make sure you're well stocked on gear and perhaps bring a few friends. Good luck!

Just nuke Monongah Mine. Event starts right after. Easy.

Honestly, the best way to start 'A Colossal Problem' is by teaming up. Soloing it is tough. You need to launch a nuke at Monongah Mine, which is already a big task. Then, dealing with Earle and his Wendigo spawns is no joke. Better in a group.
