Starting a new character in Fallout 76 is pretty straightforward! Just hit the main menu after loading up the game. There, you'll see an option to 'Play,' 'Settings,' and 'Quit.' Click on 'Play,' and you'll have the option to either continue with your current character or start a new one. Choose 'Create New Character' and you're all set to customize your new Vault Dweller and explore the wasteland anew!
