To start a new game in State of Decay 2, you have to go to the main menu, select 'Manage Communities', and then delete your current community to make space for a new one. Just make sure you're ready to say farewell to your old crew!

When I wanted to start fresh in State of Decay 2, I deleted my existing communities. Just go to 'Manage Communities' in the main menu, and wave goodbye! It's like spring cleaning, zombie-style.
