To start 'Riding Shotgun' in Fallout 76, head over to the East side of the Big Bend Tunnel. Once you're there, look for the Blue Ridge Caravan Company camp. Talk to Vinny Costa - he's the guy you need to speak to in order to initiate the event. Make sure you're ready to protect a caravan from any attackers though, because that's your main job in this mission.
