Been there, done that. I found crafting the Solar Tablet way easier than hunting for it in chests. Just snag some cells and a fragment, craft it, and you're good to go. Set it off during the day, and brace yourself for the eclipse. It really ramps up the challenge but totally worth it for the loot!

To kick off a Solar Eclipse in Terraria, you're gonna need to get your hands on a Solar Tablet. These babies can be found in Lihzahrd Chests within the Jungle Temple, or you can craft one by combining 8 Lihzahrd Power Cells and a Fragment at an Ancient Manipulator. Once you have the Solar Tablet, just activate it in your inventory during the daytime, and boom, instant eclipse!

Just use a Solar Tablet, easy peasy. Daytime + Solar Tablet = Solar Eclipse. No tablet? No eclipse.
