To kick off the 'Trade Secrets' quest in Fallout 76, you gotta head to the Hornwright Industrial Headquarters located in the southern part of the map. Once you're there, explore around until you find a terminal or a keycard that'll get you started. You actually have to finish the 'Overseer's Mission' quest first before you can start 'Trade Secrets'. It's a prerequisite, so no skipping ahead in line!
just go to the Hornwright Industrial HQ on the map and look for stuff to interact with. quest should start easy peasy.
