To play multiplayer in State of Decay 2, open your in-game menu and invite friends from your Xbox Live or Steam friend list to join your game. You can join others by accepting invites too!
Take it from me, all you need is an active Xbox Live or Steam account and some friends ready to help with the undead horde. Just use the in-game invite option!
