How to Steer in Tears of the Kingdom
JokingTunic路7 months agoSteering in Tears of the Kingdom feels super intuitive once you get the hang of it! Basically, if you're gliding, just tilt the Joy-Con or the control stick in the direction you wanna go. For more precision, especially during puzzles or when using Link's new abilities, start slow! The game is pretty forgiving, and you'll soon find it's super responsive, making exploring Hyrule a breeze!

First time I picked up Tears of the Kingdom, I struggled a bit with steering too. Felt like I was all thumbs. But seriously, it's about gentle movements. Whether you're paragliding, climbing, or just running around, subtle adjustments work best. And don't forget, practice makes perfect. Give it time, and you'll be navigating like a pro in no time!
Hot take but... Just move the stick, lol. It ain't rocket science.
Make sure your controllers are calibrated correctly! Had an issue where my steering was off, turned out my Joy-Con was drifting. A quick recalibration in the Switch settings and it was like night and day. Also, experiment with both types of controls, handheld and using a Pro Controller. Different setups might suit your playstyle better!
