Easy peasy! Just open Steam, click on 'Library' and right-click the game you want to stop auto-updating. Select 'Properties,' then go to the 'Updates' tab. Here, you'll see a dropdown menu where you can choose 'Only update this game when I launch it.' Now you're in control!
Honestly, just let Steam update your games. It keeps everything running smoothly and fixes bugs. Why mess with a good thing?
