Stopping a Cascade in MTG isn't always easy, but there are a few strategies that can save your game. One effective way is using counter spells like 'Counterspell' or 'Negate' to stop the cascade spell or the spells cascaded into directly. Another is to employ cards that prevent your opponent from casting spells from anywhere other than their hand, such as 'Ashiok, Dream Render'. Remember, timing and knowing when to play these cards is key!

Honestly, just let it happen. Cascade is cool. Enjoy the chaos!

Just play 'Teferi, Time Raveler'. His static ability locks out Cascade by only allowing spells to be cast at sorcery speed. Cascade happens at instant speed, so Teferi shuts it down cold.

Cards like 'Void Winnower' are fun, making it impossible for your opponent to cast spells with even mana costs鈥攚hich many cascade spells are. It's not a surefire method since some cascade targets might still slip through, but it's another layer to frustrate your opponent!

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
