You can manage your Facebook notifications to avoid the temptation. Just click on the three dots on the post, and select 'Turn off notifications'.
Just delete your comment! Click the three dots next to it and select 'Delete.' Voila, it's gone!
If you're looking to break the commenting habit, try unfollowing the posts or pages that spark your need to chime in. Out of sight, out of comment!
You can also deactivate your Facebook account if you want a more drastic 'stop' to all commenting.
