Honestly, just let it spread. Adds character to the world and a bit more challenge. What's life without a bit of crimson?

Sunflowers! Plant them at the edges. They won't stop the spread completely but do slow it down. Plus, they're pretty. ?

Digging a moat around your base or any important area and lining it with wood or any non-corruptible block is a solid strategy. I did this in my own world, and it's like a charm. Makes your base look extra cool too, like a floating island!

Stopping Crimson in Terraria takes some elbow grease but it's doable! The most straightforward method is using the Clentaminator, which you can buy from the Steampunker NPC. This awesome gadget can spread the Purity or Hallow to replace Crimson blocks when used with Green Solution. Also, creating 5-block-wide hellevators on both sides of the Crimson area can effectively quarantine it, preventing further spread. Don't forget, Crimson can't spread through the air, so making sure there's empty space or non-corruptible blocks like clay around your important areas helps too!
