How to Stop Fallout 4 from Crashing
Fallout 4 crashing can be super annoying, but here are a few tricks. First, make sure your game and graphics drivers are up to date. Sometimes, outdated drivers are the culprit. If you're on PC, try running the game in Windowed mode instead of Fullscreen. Also, disabling any mods you've got might help since some mods can conflict with the game, causing it to crash. If all else fails, verify the integrity of game files through Steam. This checks for any corrupted or missing files and replaces them!

Mods are probably messing with your game. I removed a couple I had and voila, no more crashes. It sucks, but sometimes you have to choose stability over cool new stuff.
Quick fix? Just turn it off and on again. LOL, but seriously, sometimes a simple restart is all it takes to shake off the gremlins causing crashes.
Update everything! Your game, your OS, your drivers, everything. Fallout 4 can get finicky with old software. Worked for me when nothing else did.
