How to Stop Hallow Spread in Terraria

The Hallow is pretty but can take over your world if you're not careful! To stop the spread, you can dig a trench at least 5 blocks wide around the area you want to protect because Hallow can't jump across gaps that wide. Sunflowers on the surface can also slow the spread, but they're not 100% effective. For a more permanent solution, use the Clentaminator with Green Solution to purify the land back to its original state. And remember, Hallow won't spread through certain materials like Clay Blocks, so those can be used as a barrier too!

I tried the trench method and it works wonders. I made mine 6 blocks wide just to be extra sure and lined it with wood walls to prevent vines from spreading across. Took a while, but my base is now Hallow-free!

Honestly, just embrace the Hallow. It's safer than having the Corruption or Crimson spread because the enemies are less aggressive. Plus, it looks really cool!
